About Us

I am a Virgo and I seem to be duty bound to create things. I love to come up with new and original ideas for wearable art. This manifests itself in crochet hats, wrist warmers, hand dyed cut-velvet and silk & satin scarves, jewelry and much more.

I also am an author and have published so far, three children's books in the Inky the Raven series of eight books by the time I'm finished the story. It is a true story about a baby bird my mother found when she was a child and cared for it until it was old enough to be released back into the wild. Inky, being a very smart and curious bird, got into all kinds of trouble, but learned a good lesson from each experience. Each Inky book has a moral that the kids understand. The first is listen to your parents, the second is not to take things that belong to others and the third is about the importance of good friends and a loving family.

I have also written a "what was I thinkng" book, Midnight Daylight about my own miss-adventures living in a hundred year old cabin and learning about survival in Alaska---the hard way, and eventually finding true love. There are many additional books, already written, waiting to be published (when I find the time and the mood strides me).

My husband (who does our web-site, lays out my books and creates the digital books) and I live in the beautiful Mat-Su Valley, near Palmer, Alaska. It is a quiet, friendly, laid-back farming community. A great place for thoughtful creativity, and we love it here.
